This is what I think about the Ragnarok Online design of the Paladin class.
On the right is the official artwork, on the left my customised version, and bottom-right is what would my version say to the other. Also, you must know that Paladins are upgraded Crusaders. Now, look at the Crusader's artwork: [link] (here is a link). Tell me seriously: the crusaders look a lot more.. you know... BETTER. They actually look equipped for battle and not for "Miss chainmail bikini 2007". And, heck! Paladins (and Crusaders of course) are supposed to be awesome Holy warriors with the heaviest Defence skills and look at the horrible pre-teen tighs-and-belly-button-showing girl they've made of it. ><" Yuck... Yes, exactly my opinion on the Paladin design. It sucks, horribly.
I remember when they first made the Paladin class and had normal crusader sprites with slightly wider shoulders.
And then? "No worry, we'll make them sexier".
Argh. Oh, and I like your version FAAAR more ^_^

I've seen the older version sprites too, they weren't really more impressive than the crusader ones but they still were better than what they did on the second version. URGH.
